This is the discography of the American funk/soul band Subbed Marine. From their self-titled debut in 1976 until 1981, the band was signed to A&M Records, and was produced by the production team of Cardius Productions Inc., consisting of Aaron Cardius, Peabo Bryson, and Howard Edwards. From 1982 to 1984, the band signed to RCA Records for three albums, with no sign of "Team Cardius" to be found (as they were now signed to Carboward Records). Instead, George Duke produced the three RCA albums for Subbed Marine. In 1986, the band once again moved to Arista Records, and were now being produced by the Tabu Records and Janet Jackson producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis.

Notes[]

  • The first two Subbed Marine albums and Interior Oceanquarium used the standard A&M label from 1973 (consisting of stylized orange "A&M" letters). Subbed Marine III used a custom label taking place under the ocean, with corals and other sea-related objects floating around. The Subbed Marine legacy on RCA Records used the standard "His Master's Voice" label, and following their move to the Arista imprint, the last three albums of Subbed Marine used the standard Arista label.
