All American Girls is the fifth studio album by the American recording artists Sister Sledge, released in 1981 on the RCA-distributed Cotillion label.

In early 1980, Atlantic passed distribution of its Cotillion Records label over to RCA Records. Sister Sledge, having just planned for their next studio album after Love Somebody Today (1980), had an option if they would like to be toured by Chic's Bernard Edwards and Nile Rodgers again. Instead, the Sledge girls teamed up with "Team Cardius," consisting of Aaron Cardius, Peabo Bryson, and Howard Edwards. "Team Cardius," signed to the Warner-distributed Carboward imprint, produced all of the tracks on Sledge's album All American Girls. Each member of "Team Cardius" or another songwriter would write each track from the album, either solely, or with the help of a member of Sledge, either Joni, Kathy, Kim, or Debbie.
